Yu Xuanjie Mini Briar Chuck Two Jaw Self-Centering with Pins

I received this briar chuck a week ago and I love it. This was the perfect solution for me. I have a 9 x 19 metal lathe with a good 3 jaw chuck. With the briar chuck it allows me to keep my big 3 jaw chuck on the lathe for stems and then clamp in this 2 jaw chuck into my 3 jaw chuck when I want to turn the briar. The machining and attention to detail on this briar chuck couldn't be better. One other thing to mention is that RawKrafted's support is excellent. Because of COVID the shipping took longer than expected but Premal was on it and was a pleasure to work with.

This is a fantastic and very necessary addition to anyone's pipe making tool inventory. It works very well with my 3 jaw chuck, and I was able to adapt it to my Vicmarc chuck as well (I go between my metal lathe and wood lathe when making pipes). Premal is fantastic to work with as well. Kudos to him and RawKrafted for having a great tool and materials selection.

I’ve had my chuck for two months now and I couldn’t be happier. My lathe is a 1937 Sheldon, unfortunately the usual bolt on jaws weren’t a affordable option. You can chuck this one into any 3 jaw chuck. I highly reccomend this product. Premal was a pleasure to work with, and extremely helpful.
