Carbide Chamber Drill Bits
These special drill bits are for use in the tailstock of a lathe or in the drill chuck of a drill press to drill the chamber in a block of briar or olive wood (unless stated otherwise in the product description.) Do not use for freehand drilling. They do not require a pilot hole. We suggest to use low speeds (300 to 500 rpm) while drilling. You may need to try multiple speeds in order to get the best results. If you experience chattering or it is leaving the surface rough, adjust speed, check if your tailstock is center, and check the blade for sharpness.
