I had ordered some pieces of Med Ebauchon and some Med Plateaux. They both looked excellent, but the quality of the Plateaux was exceptionally good. I am a new pipe maker, and I have to say this is the nicest block of briar that I have gotten as of yet. Pretty tightly packed grain and very clean. I'd highly recommend!

These block were much better than I expected. I use these as practice blocks and are turning out nice stummels
Very Happy with what I received
The plateaux blocks I bought seem good. I even got an upgrade to a much larger block for one of them than I anticipated. I gave only 4 stars because the medium block I purchased seemed to have more visible flaws than expected. Though that isn't why it didn't become the cutty pipe I was going to make it into, (I screwed up, fortunately the block is salvageable for another project) their were enough pits in it to concern this very new pipe carver.

Didn't know what to expect but these blocks are everything I could have asked for. No apparent defects and the grain and figure are what one could expect in this grade and cost. Service and packing was excellent. I'll definitely buy from RawKrafter again.
