Military Mount Brass Reamer 8.7 mm Tip 1.5 Degree Taper

This Brass Reamer is used to open an existing hole to a 1.5 Degree Taper.  Our 80mm x 9mm Italian Acrylic Stem Small No Saddle Tapered Tenon Polished - Will Fit the hole this reamer makes.

Two options are available.

Relief Cut - Is used in a drill press or lathe tail stock.  Ideally at 300 rpm but can be faster.

No Relief - Is used for freehand reaming or in a hand held drill.  Ideally at 200 rpm.

Instructions:

Drill hole at 5/16" or 8mm.  Do not exceed 8.8 mm.  Then use reamer to open hole.

Premal's Tips:

On Briar or other woods this reamer will stay sharp for about 500 cuts.  They can be sharpened by hand on the flat with a flat sharpening surface.
